I’m a third year geography major, and earth and environmental science minor at The University of British Columbia-Okanagan, with a diploma in Environmental Management from Okanagan College.  I was born in Prince Rupert, and have moved around substantially in the last 15 years, to finally settle down in Kelowna. I enjoy being outdoors, and I will be travelling to New Zealand and the Cook Islands in May for a group study program looking at natural hazard risk in mountain environments.  I hope to follow a career in environmental assessment, or hazard mitigation.

I am a fifth year geography major and political science minor at the University of British Columbia - Okanagan. I am born and raised in Kelowna but have done extensive travelling including to New Zealand, Australia, Cook Islands, France, England, Spain, and Mexico. I have also spent time studying geography at the University of Connecticut. My interests in geography are natural hazards and disaster management, particularly from a human vulnerability aspect, and I hope to pursue a Master's degree in this area in the near future.
